xlsx file reading

Hi all,

I understand GP is capable of reading xlsx files from core file importer functionality.

Is the methdology allowing xlsx import exposed in the Geneious API and available to re-use for import of arbritrary xlsx files, or would it be best to include an external library in our plugin to allow this?

  Hi Alex,

  the specific xlsx import capabilities are not exposed in the public API.

  In order to import xlsx files and format data differently from what our standard spreadsheet import does  you would need to provide your own plugin & relevant libraries.
