Database migration from Oracle to SQL server 2019

Hi All,

I am migrating Geneious Prime shared Oracle database to SQL server 2019 using SSMA.

The STRING_SEARCH_FIELD_VALUE table has 400 million rows. I am having challenge to migrate this table. per minutes 40,000 rows migrate , so the process takes 166 hours !

all most 7 days ! process does not complete , it breaks in-between 

What kind of data this table store ? 

Is there any better way to migrate such big table ?

  Hello Chirag,

  Is this a transfer between local databases, or to a remote network (such as a cloud-based database)?

  What batch size have you set SSMA to use? It may be possible to greatly increase the speed of the transfer by adjusting this value.
