Unable to install MAFFT Plugin

I have directly downloaded the MAFFT plugin from the geneious site, and have tried to do it within the software. When I upload it or install it, it says the installation is successful and I have to restart the program. When I do restart, the software says the installation of MAFFT was unsuccessful. I have had MAFFT before on my software, but uninstalled it to upload the updated version. Any tips?
