LAMP primers designing module

Hi there,

The LAMP assay is getting more and more popular. Thus I do think, it would be cool if LAMP primer designing module for singular sequences and for alignments could be added to Geneious. Maybe something like LAVA software ((http://www.biomedcentral.com/1471-2105/12/240)) could be implemented as feature or plugin?

  I see you've requested this in the past, thanks for checking in!

  There's always a chance, but at the moment this is not high on our list of priorities I'm afraid.

  Was there any progress on a way to implement primer explorer in geneious (LAMP primer design)? I ask due to the increased interest in LAMP (without or without Cas12/Cas13 add-on) for SARS-Cov2 detection

  I would love to see the LAMP designing module in Geneious. Especially with an option for multiplex option. An open-source protocol was published (LAVA, https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/21679460/), but it has no graphic interface and requires some programming skills. This is too much challenge for many wet-lab workers like me ;).
