Using Migration Assist or setup assistant on a mac to transfer Geneious to a new machine sometimes breaks the Flexnet licensing system. You will need to release the license from your old machine before you do the transfer, then re-enter your license details on the new machine. If you still get a "Failed to launch Flexnet" or "Invalid license" error after entering the license on your new machine, you will need to remove the installation of Geneious and Flexnet by deleting the following files:
/Applications/Geneious.app
/Library/Application_Support/Geneious
/Library/Preferences/Flexnet Publisher
/Library/Application_Support/Flexnet Publisher
Then download the installer for Geneious from our website and reinstall it.
