Geneious Prime uses an embedded browser for activation (email sign on). Some institutions may not allow non-standard browsers on their systems. Should you encounter an issue (Geneious Prime 2026 or later) where the email sign activation window does not load, you can activate via your own web browser, instead. To do so, hold option (Mac) or alt (Windows) and close the activation window (click on the X button).
In the following pop-up, choose the option to activate via your web browser using your email and password.
