Geneious Prime Local databases are stored separately from the application itself, in a folder called Geneious X.Y Data on Windows and Mac or .geneiousX.Ydata on Linux (where X.Y represents the Geneious Prime version used when creating the database).
For example, a database for Geneious Prime 2024 will be called Geneious 2024 Data, and a database for Geneious 2023 will be called Geneious 2023 Data.
Geneious databases are located in the user’s home directory by default (e.g. /Users/username/Geneious 2024 Data).
You can verify the path by going to Tools -> Preferences -> General tab where you'll see the current "data storage location".
