The beta version of Geneious Prime 2027.0 has been made available before the official release for testing purposes only. It contains the majority of new features for Geneious Prime 2027.0 but hasn’t been through our full quality assurance process.

New features and functionality include more thorough CRISPR off-target analysis with a new Off-Target viewer (Academic/Enterprise only) and off-target searching in genomes that is up to 3x faster, the Cutting Frequency Determination (CFD) off-target score from Doench et al (2016), the ability to run multiple on-target and off-target scoring algorithms in a single operation, easier filtering and editing of CRISPR guides, upstream and downstream base additions for Golden Gate cloning (Academic/Enterprise only), choice of any backbone fragment in Gibson and In-Fusion cloning when a circular backbone is digested, and a new algorithm for aligning circular sequences without linearizing them first (Academic/Enterprise only).
